The Haltech TMS-4 Tyre Pressure / Temperature Monitoring System is an advanced accessory, specifically designed to complement the Haltech Elite range of ECU's. It provides accurate and real-time tyre pressure and temperature information for each wheel, enhancing your driving experience and ensuring optimal performance. With its external sensors, installation is straightforward as they simply replace the valve caps, eliminating the need to remove the tyres from the rims. The system's advanced features include: - High pressure detection: Monitors and displays current tyre pressure against specified target levels. - Low pressure warning: Triggers an alarm when tyre pressure falls below a predefined minimum level. - High temperature monitoring: Continuously measures the temperature of each tyre, alerting you to potential overheating issues. - Air leak detection: Senses any air leaks, allowing for prompt repairs to avoid catastrophic tyre failure. - Sensor battery low voltage warning: Alerts you when sensor batteries are running low, ensuring uninterrupted monitoring. The Haltech TMS-4 is fully compatible with the Haltech Elite ECU's and, if paired with a compatible dash display, can trigger trouble codes and flag warnings. Its sensors come in two variants: internal and external. Internal sensors require tyres to be removed from the rim for installation, while external sensors offer quick and easy installation by simply replacing the valve caps. Both sensor types come with anti-theft lock nuts for added security.
