The Rotrex C15 centrifugal supercharger is a high-performance, compact bolt-on solution designed to enhance engine performance. These superchargers provide the ideal combination of power increase with reliability and low noise. Unlike turbochargers, these Rotrex superchargers are driven from the engine, resulting in a more linear and predictable power curve. The C15 range has been specifically developed for engines up to 2000cc, providing power outputs from 30 Bhp to over 200 Bhp. Its compact design makes it ideal for engine bays with limited space, allowing increased power and torque throughout the rev range. The self-contained oil supply system eliminates the need to tamper with the existing engine oil system. The patented planetary traction drive system is a key feature of Rotrex centrifugal superchargers. This system takes power from the engine crankshaft to spin the compressor wheel up to 201,050 Rpm, resulting in higher boost at low-to-mid RPM ranges for massive acceleration improvements. The vibration-free, quiet, and reliable operation are further benefits of this system. To enable easier fitment of a Rotrex supercharger to a vehicle, it has been designed with a self-contained lubrication system that includes a dual-action oil pump, filter, hose, and specially developed traction fluid. A separate oil cooler with -6 JIC male fittings is required to complete the oil system, and suitable options can be found here. The compressor housing can be rotated in 60-degree increments for optimum outlet orientation, allowing easier fitment and installation. The Rotrex C15 superchargers are available in three different models to suit various power outputs, with several pulley size options within those ranges. To calculate the correct pulley diameter, apply the relative information from the table below to this formula, ensuring the maximum supercharger RPM is not exceeded: Max engine RPM x Crank pulley Diameter x Supercharger drive ratio.
