The Rotrex C15 centrifugal supercharger is a compact bolt-on solution designed to increase engine performance while providing reliability and minimal noise. Unlike turbochargers, these Rotrex superchargers are driven from the engine, resulting in a more linear and predictable power and torque curve. The C15 range of superchargers has been designed for engines up to 2000cc, with power outputs ranging from 30 Bhp to over 200 Bhp. Its compact design makes it ideal for engine bays with limited space, increasing power and torque throughout the rev range. The self-contained oil supply system eliminates the need to tamper with the existing engine oil system. Rotrex centrifugal superchargers utilize a patented planetary traction drive system, which takes power from the engine crankshaft to spin the compressor wheel up to 201,050 Rpm. This creates higher boost at the low to mid Rpm range, resulting in massive improvements in acceleration. The system is also vibration-free, quiet, and reliable in operation. To enable easier fitment of a Rotrex supercharger to a vehicle, they have been designed with a self-contained lubrication system that includes a dual-action oil pump, filter, hose, and specially developed traction fluid. A separate oil cooler with -6 JIC male fittings is required to complete the oil system. The compressor housing can be rotated in 60-degree increments for optimum outlet orientation. The Rotrex C15 superchargers are available in three different models to suit various power outputs. Within those ranges, there are several options of pulley size that determine the supercharger speed.
