The Rotrex C15 centrifugal supercharger is a compact and reliable solution for boosting engine performance. Its unique design makes it an ideal bolt-on addition to engines up to 2000cc, providing a linear and predictable power curve. Unlike turbochargers, the Rotrex supercharger is driven from the engine's crankshaft, resulting in a more linear and predictable power output. The C15 range has been developed to provide power outputs from 30 Bhp to over 200 Bhp, making it an excellent choice for engines up to 2000cc. The compact design of the Rotrex supercharger makes it ideal for engine bays with limited space, increasing both power and torque throughout the rev range. Its self-contained oil supply system means there's no need to tamper with the existing engine oil system, making installation and maintenance a breeze. The patented planetary traction drive system used in Rotrex centrifugal superchargers enables the compressor wheel to spin up to 20,100 Rpm, resulting in higher boost at lower RPM. This innovative design makes the supercharger both vibration-free and quiet, ensuring reliability and performance. To ensure an easier fitment of a Rotrex supercharger to a vehicle, it has been designed with a self-contained lubrication system that includes a dual-action oil pump, filter, hose, and specially developed traction fluid. A separate oil cooler with -6 JIC male fittings is required to complete the oil system, and suitable options can be found HERE. The compressor housing can be rotated in 60-degree increments for optimum outlet orientation, making it easier to fit the supercharger into tight engine bays. The Rotrex C15 superchargers are available in three different models to suit different power outputs, and within those ranges, there are several options of pulley size that determines the supercharger speed. To calculate the correct pulley diameter, apply the relative information from the table below to this formula: Max engine RPM x Crank pulley Diameter x Supercharger drive ratio Pulley diameter.
