The Rotrex C15 centrifugal supercharger is a compact bolt-on solution for increasing engine performance, designed to provide the ideal combination of power increase with reliability and low noise. Unlike turbochargers, these Rotrex superchargers are driven from the engine, resulting in a more linear and predictable power and torque curve. The C15 range of superchargers is designed for engines up to 2000cc, providing power outputs from 30 Bhp to over 200 Bhp. Its compact design makes it ideal for engine bays with limited space, increasing power and torque throughout the rev range. The unparalleled power-to-size ratio compared to other supercharger manufacturers makes it an excellent choice for engines up to 2000cc. One of the key features of the Rotrex C15 centrifugal supercharger is its self-contained oil supply system, which eliminates the need to tamper with the existing engine oil system. This system includes a dual-action oil pump, filter, hose, and specially developed traction fluid. A separate oil cooler with -6 JIC male fittings is required to complete the oil system. The Rotrex C15 superchargers use a patented planetary traction drive system, which takes power from the engine crankshaft to spin the compressor wheel up to 201,050 Rpm. This creates higher boost at the low-to-mid Rpm range, resulting in massive improvements in acceleration. The system also ensures that the supercharger is vibration-free, quiet, and reliable in operation. To enable easier fitment of a Rotrex supercharger to a vehicle, the compressor housing can be rotated in 60-degree increments for optimum outlet orientation. The Rotrex C15 superchargers are available in three different models to suit different power outputs, with several options of pulley size determining the supercharger speed. To calculate the correct pulley diameter, apply the relative information from the table below to this formula: Max engine RPM x Crank pulley Diameter x Supercharger drive ratio Pulley diameter.
