The Rotrex C15 centrifugal supercharger is a compact bolt-on solution designed to enhance engine performance, providing a seamless blend of power and reliability. Unlike turbochargers, these Rotrex superchargers are driven by the engine, resulting in a more linear and predictable power and torque curve. The C15 range of superchargers has been developed for engines up to 2000cc, delivering power outputs from 30 Bhp to over 200 Bhp. The compact design makes it ideal for engine bays with limited space, increasing power and torque throughout the rev range. With its unparalleled power-to-size ratio compared to other supercharger manufacturers, this centrifugal supercharger is suitable for engines up to 2000cc. One of the key features of Rotrex centrifugal superchargers is their patented planetary traction drive system, which takes power from the engine crankshaft to spin the compressor wheel up to 201,050 Rpm. This creates higher boost at the low-to-mid RPM range, resulting in massive improvements in acceleration. The system also ensures that the supercharger operates quietly and reliably. To enable easier fitment of a Rotrex supercharger to a vehicle, they have been designed with a self-contained lubrication system that includes a dual-action oil pump, filter, hose, and specially developed traction fluid. A separate oil cooler with -6 JIC male fittings is required to complete the oil system. The compressor housing can be rotated in 60-degree increments for optimum outlet orientation, making it easier to fit the supercharger to the vehicle. Rotrex C15 superchargers are available in three different models to suit different power outputs, and within those ranges, there are several options of pulley size that determine the supercharger speed.
