The Rotrex C15 Centrifugal Supercharger is a pioneering bolt-on solution designed to enhance engine performance, boasting an impressive power-to-size ratio compared to other supercharger manufacturers. Its compact design makes it ideal for engines with limited space in the bay, increasing power and torque throughout the rev range. Unlike turbochargers, which are driven by exhaust gases, Rotrex superchargers are driven from the engine's crankshaft, resulting in a more linear and predictable power curve. The C15 range is designed for engines up to 2000cc with power outputs ranging from 30 Bhp to over 200 Bhp. One of the key advantages of Rotrex centrifugal superchargers lies in their patented planetary traction drive system. This system takes power from the engine's crankshaft to spin the compressor wheel up to 201,050 Rpm, creating higher boost at lower RPM for massive improvements in acceleration. Additionally, this system ensures vibration-free, quiet, and reliable operation. The self-contained lubrication system is a key feature of Rotrex superchargers, including a dual-action oil pump, filter, hose, and specially developed traction fluid. A separate oil cooler with -6 JIC male fittings is required to complete the oil system, which can be easily sourced from our website. The compressor housing can be rotated in 60-degree increments for optimum outlet orientation, making fitment easier. The Rotrex C15 superchargers are available in three models, each catering to different power outputs and offering multiple pulley size options. To determine the correct pulley diameter, apply the formula: Max engine RPM x Crank pulley Diameter x Supercharger drive ratio. Ensure the maximum supercharger RPM is not exceeded.
