AIM Motorsport MyChron Expansion

The AIM Motorsport MyChron Expansion is a versatile upgrade module for the MyChron5 S, MyChron5 S 2T (and previous generation MyChron4) dash systems. It provides four additional analogue channels and an extra connection for the CAN bus, enabling the dashboard to interface with other AIM Motorsport products like the LCU Lambda controller, SmartyCam HD on-board camera, or Data Key for data downloading. By connecting an external battery to power MyChron Expansion, it ensures that the dash and its peripherals are not draining the internal battery. With this module, four channels are available to connect to corresponding sensors: 1. Exhaust gas valve position sensor - Determines the RPM value at which the exhaust port opens. 2. Wheel speed sensor - Can also be set up as a digital input in the MyChron dash menu. 3. No contact brake pedal position sensor. 4. No contact throttle pedal position sensor - Assists in determining when to accelerate. 5. Brake pressure sensor. 6. Water temperature or cylinder head temperature (PT100 thermo-resistor only). 7. Steering angle potentiometer - Identifies over/under steer situations. 8. Brake pedal potentiometer. 9. Throttle pedal potentiometer. MyChron Expansion comes with dimensions of 127x24x33 mm and a weight of 194g. It's important to note that it does not support gear calculation.
