The Tillett B6 XL is a slimline, driver-focused seat designed for a wide range of kit cars, sports cars, and trackday vehicles. Its elongated design caters to taller drivers (up to 130kg with a 40" waist), positioning them lower in the car and enhancing overall stability. The B6's thoughtful construction incorporates headrest adjustments to accommodate crash helmets, and shoulder belt holes that are compatible with FHR/HANS devices. This seat is perfect for those seeking a comfortable yet robust solution. Featuring a unique twin skin design, the B6 ensures rigidity and unparalleled chassis feedback while accommodating various driver shapes and sizes (up to 100kg with a 36" waist). Its slimline structure belies its strength; lightweight GRP or ultra-lightweight Carbon/GRP shell options further enhance its appeal. The contoured, body-hugging shape offers high side bolsters for lateral support and impact protection, as well as an ergonomic design that supports the driver without requiring additional padding. This British-made seat's internal dimensions are consistent between shell configurations (either 40 cm or 47 cm). The outer shell can be easily removed from the 40 cm tub for a snug fit, or left on to create a continuous rolled edge around the larger perimeter of the XL version. Standard features include a Dinamica suede covered headrest pad, while an optional 2-piece Dinamica trimmed pad set is available if desired. The B6 offers both side and base mounting options for flexible installation. Side mounts require separate mounts (available here), while base mounts can utilize the Tillett Adjustment Seat Runner Set (also available separately). The runners and spacers necessary for base mounting are also provided here. It is crucial to ensure that the runners are positioned 1 cm from the underside of the seat to allow clearance for the handle's operation.
