Wire the cable to a suitable plug (see wiring information below) 2. Mark the area where the pad is to be fitted, ensuring it's large enough to accommodate the full area of the pad 3. Clean the area by removing any paint, grease, oil or other contaminants using a residue-free cleaner like acetone or brake cleaner 4. Remove the backing from the pad and apply the heater pad to the cleaned area, using the supplied application tool to remove any air pockets 5. Plug in the heater for 3-5 minutes to warm it up 6. Apply the heater pad to the cleaned area, removing any air pockets using the supplied application tool 7. Once again using the installation tool, smooth over to remove any remaining air bubbles 8. Seal the edges of the pad using the supplied silicone sealer, allowing it to fully cure before operating the heater The kit includes a silicone heater pad with 6ft long cable, pad applicator tool, silicone sealer, cable ties for the cord, and instructions. Wolverine Engine oil pre-heaters are available in various sizes to cater to different applications. Please refer to the table below to select the correct option for your application. The Wolverine heaters come in 12v DC, 24v DC, and 230v / 240v options, supplied with bare wire ends that require wiring. For 12v DC and 24v DC versions, there are two wires without polarity sensitivity, allowing for either way of wiring. For the 230v / 240v option, a 13amp plug is required (not included). The centre wire (green/yellow) should be wired to earth pin, with the other two wires being live and neutral.
