Mark the area where the pad is to be fitted. 3. Clean the area by removing any paint, grease, oil or other contaminants using acetone or brake cleaner. 4. Remove the backing from the pad and apply it to the cleaned area, ensuring no air pockets are left behind. 5. Plug in the heater for 3-5 minutes to warm it up. 6. Apply the heater pad to the cleaned area, removing any air pockets using the supplied application tool. 7. Smooth over the edges of the pad using the silicone sealer and allow it to fully cure before operating the heater. The kit includes a silicone heater pad with a 6ft long cable, pad applicator tool, silicone sealer, cable ties for the cord, and instructions.
