1. Wire the cable to a suitable plug (see below for wiring information)

2. Mark the area where the pad is to be fitted, ensuring it is large enough to accommodate the full area of the pad

3. Clean the area by removing any paint, grease, oil or other contaminants using a residue-free cleaner like acetone or brake cleaner

4. Remove the backing from the pad and plug in the heater for 3-5 minutes to warm it up

5. Apply the heater pad to the cleaned area, removing any air pockets using the supplied application tool

6. Plug the heater in again for 5-10 seconds

7. Smooth over the area to remove any remaining air bubbles

8. Seal the edges of the pad using the supplied silicone sealer, allowing it to fully cure before operating the heater
