The installation process is simple and involves the following steps:

1. Wire the cable to a suitable plug (refer to wiring information)
2. Mark the area where the pad will be fitted, ensuring it's large enough to accommodate the full area of the pad
3. Clean the area by removing any paint, grease, oil or other contaminants using acetone or brake cleaner, leaving no residue
4. Remove the backing from the pad and apply the heater for 3-5 minutes to warm it up
5. Apply the heater pad to the cleaned area, removing any air pockets using the supplied application tool
6. Plug in the heater again for 5-10 seconds
7. Using the installation tool, smooth over to remove any remaining air bubbles
8. Seal the edges of the pad using the supplied silicone sealer and allow it to fully cure before operating the heater

The Wolverine engine oil pre-heaters are available in a range of sizes to suit different applications. Please refer to the table below to select the correct option for your application.

The Wolverine heaters are available in 12v DC, 24v DC, and 230v/240v options. They are supplied with bare wire ends and require wiring. The 12v DC and 24v DC versions have two wires and are not polarity sensitive, so can be wired either way. For the 230v/240v option, a 13amp plug is required (not included). For wiring purposes, the centre wire (green/yellow) is wired to earth pin, and the other two wires are live and neutral (it doesn't matter which way they are wired).
