Mocal Billet Oil Sandwich Plate With Sender Take Off - Universal, Without Thermostat: A Comprehensive Solution for Remote Oil Devices The Mocal billet aluminium sandwich plate is designed to provide an oil feed and return for remote oil devices such as oil coolers, making it suitable for vehicles with spin-on oil filters. This plate fits between the oil filter and engine and screws into place via a male/female centre bolt, which also allows the oil filter to be screwed into the plate. The plate features two x female 1/8" NPT ports, enabling the fitment of sender units. M22 x 1.5 female ports are also included. A range of adapters is available separately to suit various plumbing options. The robust billet aluminium construction makes it suitable for engines with screw-on oil filters. Options are available for most engine types, and include take-off port(s) for fitting sender units. Mocal sandwich plates are available with a range of different oil filter thread types to suit different engines. They are suitable for oil filters with a 76mm diameter, and a range of suitable oil filters can be found HERE. Thermostatic versions of the sandwich plates are also available, which contain a wax stat that only allows oil to flow to the cooler once the temperature reaches 80°C. This provides faster engine warm-up times.
