The Raptor Tempest boasts a fully wireless design, with no coiled cables required, making it ideal for open cockpit cars. The buttons are housed in a textured polyurethane foam pad that is both hard-wearing and waterproof, ensuring reliability even in harsh environments. This Pro Model features a solid-state receiver with 12V, 250mA regulated outputs that can be switched down to 5V logic level for PDM use. The wiring is integrated into the panel, eliminating external components that could snag or break. The Raptor Tempest offers user-configurable button operation and control up to 8 different channels. It is available in two versions: Clubman and Pro. The difference between the two models lies in the receiver, with the Pro model featuring a solid-state receiver. This cutting-edge technology allows for fully configurable buttons that can be set to perform as either momentary, latching, or flashing actions. This flexibility enables the Raptor Tempest to control various functions in the car, including lighting, horn, lap timers, traction control, launch control, wipers, fans, and radio communication. The Raptor Tempest is designed for both race use and IVA compliance for road cars. The race configuration has no preset channels, allowing user-defined control of whatever is required. When set to flashing action, the flash rate is pre-set at 4 times per second (4Hz), ideal for a 'flash-to-pass' function when connected to the headlights. The road version is fully IVA compliant and features an included decal sheet with IVA-recognized symbols for functions such as headlights, indicators, horn, hazard lights, wipers, washers, and more. The flash rate is pre-set at 2 times per second (2Hz), meeting IVA requirements. This model also includes clever cancellation logic that prevents multiple signal buttons from being active simultaneously. The Raptor Tempest comes with a comprehensive package including the steering wheel button transmitter pad, 8-channel relay receiver, wiring loom with 12-pin Deutsch connector, CR2032 battery, and decal sheet with 56 different decals. Additionally, installation instructions are provided. This product is compatible with various aftermarket steering wheels, including OMP Targa, Sparco 383, Momo Team (300mm diameter only), Momo Model 26 (280mm diameter only), SPA Design Formula, and more.
