The Summit Technologies Raptor Tempest is a revolutionary wireless steering wheel button control designed specifically for car enthusiasts. This 8-channel panel provides finger-tip control over electrical systems without the need for coiled cables. The Raptor Tempest features a tried-and-tested technology, offering an OEM look and feel that seamlessly integrates with popular aftermarket steering wheels. The Raptor Tempest is fully wireless, eliminating the need for coiled cables, and allows users to configure up to 8 different channels. This device can be used with a range of popular aftermarket steering wheels (sold separately). The Clubman and Pro models differ in their receiver design: the Clubman model uses 12V relays for switching, while the Pro model features a solid-state receiver with 12V 250mA regulated outputs that can be switched down to 5V logic level for PDM use. The Tempest's integrated wiring panel eliminates external snagging or breakage risks. Resin-filled protective caps provide longevity and reliability, ensuring a secure connection. The panel is powered by a 3V CR2032 battery, which can be changed via the magnetic quick-release centre cap featuring an LED that displays the current battery condition. The 12-volt receiver module is designed to fit within a waterproof Deutsch enclosure, providing protection from harsh environments. An 80cm long wiring loom with a 12-pin Deutsch connector offers flexibility in mounting. This device can be fully configured for race or road use, allowing users to personalize their system according to their needs. The flash rate can be set to either 4 times per second (4Hz) for 'Flash to Pass' functionality or 2 times per second (2Hz) for IVA compliance. A decal sheet featuring popular symbols is included, allowing users to customize their buttons. The Raptor Tempest is available in a range of configurations to suit various aftermarket steering wheels, including OMP Targa, Sparco 383, Momo Team, Momo Model 26, SPA Design Formula, and more.
