The Summit Technologies Raptor Tempest is a premium wireless steering wheel button control designed specifically for the Momo Team 300mm Pro model. The Raptor Tempest boasts an impressive eight-channel relay receiver, capable of controlling up to eight different channels. The difference between the two models lies in the receiver. The Clubman model uses 12V relays for switching, whereas the Pro model features a solid-state receiver with 12V 250mA regulated outputs that can be switched down to 5V logic level for PDM use. The Tempest is designed to withstand harsh environments, making it perfect for competition cars. The integrated wiring in the panel eliminates snagging or breaking concerns. The switches are resin-filled with protective caps to provide longevity and reliability. The panel is powered by a 3V CR2032 battery, which can be changed via the magnetic quick-release centre cap. The 12-volt receiver module has been developed to fit within a waterproof Deutsch enclosure, providing freedom of mounting with an 80cm long wiring loom and 12-pin Deutsch connector. Each of the buttons can be set to perform as either momentary, latching, or flashing actions, allowing for flexibility in controlling various electrical systems. The Raptor Tempest is fully compliant with IVA standards, making it suitable for use on road cars. The flash rate is pre-set at 2 times per second (2Hz), which meets the IVA requirement. The clever cancellation logic prevents more than one signal (indicator) button being active at the same time. The product comes with a comprehensive package including a steering wheel button transmitter pad, 8-channel relay receiver, wiring loom with 12-pin Deutsch connector, CR2032 battery, decal sheet with 56 different decals, and installation instructions. The Raptor Tempest is available to suit various aftermarket steering wheels, including OMP Targa, Sparco 383, Momo Team (300mm diameter only), Momo Model 26 (280mm diameter only), and SPA Design Formula.
