The Black Diamond 2 Piece Stage 2 Clutch Kit, featuring a 240mm Kev-TEC plate and 20 Spline, is specifically designed for fast road and competition applications. With an impressive increase of up to 30% in torque above standard, this clutch kit provides superior performance and handling. The Kev-TEC compound, made from Aramid Fibre, offers higher temperature performance and increased boot performance compared to Stage 1 clutch kits. This lightweight yet extremely hard compound is designed to withstand the high clamping pressure of Stage 2 clutch springs, friction forces, and temperatures associated with competition driving. The manufacturing process utilizes Aramid fibre technology similar in performance to Kevlar, providing a highly reliable and durable material. This results in an extremely hard but lightweight compound capable of dealing with the demands of track use. To achieve maximum performance, we recommend a 600-mile gentle breaking-in period and a flywheel inspection for dishing or imperfections prior to fitting. This ensures that the friction loss issues are minimized, allowing you to enjoy optimal performance.
