The high contrast TFT display ensures optimal visual quality regardless of ambient lighting conditions, with an integrated sensor that intelligently adjusts the backlight brightness. This feature avoids screen glare in dark environments while ensuring optimal visibility during daylight hours. Users can customise their dashboard pages to showcase preferred data, selecting from a comprehensive library of page styles and defining measurement units. Swift navigation between pages is achievable via push buttons or alternatively with an optional remote interface if the dash is inaccessible. The 10 multicoloured RGB shift lights can be personalised according to individual preferences, assigning custom RPM thresholds for each gear. Similarly, configurable RGB alarm LEDs enable users to select conditions and colours, choosing between solid or flashing alarms with adjustable frequencies. Users may also set accompanying text messages on the display and establish alarm priorities. The MXP 1.3 Strada includes a CAN output for direct communication with existing CAN networks, expanding possibilities in vehicle control applications. Integrating the MXP 1.3 Strada dash to cars or motorcycles is straightforward: simply connect to the ECU, either standard or racing. The dash samples and displays numerous channels directly from the ECU, often requiring only two cable connections instead of multiple sensor connections. The supported list of available ECU drivers constantly expands and updates. The supplied 14 pin AMP connector and harness cover essential power, ground, CAN1+/-, USB, and EXP (CAN expansion modules) requirements for most users. For those requiring a 23 pin AMP connector and harness, it can be purchased separately. The dash is available in two versions: Street Icon, ideal for regular road use, and Race Icon, tailored to track/competition environments. Both versions feature an odometer and trip meter and offer the choice of either OBDII / K-Line or CAN ECU connection options. To complement these features, a range of optional expansion modules can be added via the built-in CAN bus: GPS09 Module for tracking lap/split times, speed, position, and acceleration; Channel Expansion to add 4 additional 0-5 volt analogue channels; TC Hub to incorporate 4 K-type thermocouple temperature sensors; LCU-One Lambda Controller for air/fuel data, lambda value, and exhaust gas temperature.
