The Davies Craig LCD EWP & Fan Digital Controller, with its sleek and updated design, provides comprehensive control over your engine's cooling system to ensure optimal temperature management. This advanced controller not only regulates the speed of a Davies Craig electric water pump (EWP) but also manages the switching of an electric cooling fan. The kit includes a complete package with a temperature sensor, wiring harness, and adaptor for fitting the sensor into a 35mm coolant hose, as well as three mounting options: a bracket, nylon plate, and Velcro pad. Alternatively, users can purchase the controller alone for upgrading their existing Davies Craig digital controller. Featuring a high-contrast black and white LCD screen, the controller displays real-time data regarding targeted and set temperatures, allowing you to maintain your desired temperature between 60°C (140°F) and 110°C (212°F). The unit stores these temperatures in its memory even when the battery is disconnected. The controller includes an override feature for electric water pump bleeding operation and a voltage output. Its self-diagnostic test functions provide visual and audible warnings to assist with troubleshooting and protect your engine from damage. These warnings include: * If the coolant temperature doesn't exceed 40°C (104°F) within the first five minutes after start-up. * If the coolant exceeds 10°C (+50°F) of set/targeted temperature. * If the coolant temperature exceeds 100°C (212°F). * If the voltage supply is either too high or too low. * If there is an error with the electric water pump. * If there is a temperature sensor error. The digital controller automatically manages the operation of your EWP and fan by varying their speed in relation to the engine coolant temperature, regulating fan speed for thermal control. The controller continues to operate the EWP and fan for up to three minutes after ignition cut-off to rapidly dissipate heat and avoid heat soak. Setting the coolant parameters is done via a simple push-button system, with the unit set by default to 85°C (185°F).
