The AIM Motorsport PDM08 is a state-of-the-art 8 channel power distribution module that streamlines vehicle electrical systems by replacing conventional fuse boxes and relays. It simplifies wiring harnesses, enhances reliability, and offers advanced control functions. Designed for motorsport enthusiasts, the PDM08 is a robust aluminium case that withstands harsh racing environments. Featuring 8 high-side outputs, this module powers various vehicle circuits with ease. Each output provides feedback to the data logger for real-time monitoring of open circuits, short circuits, voltage levels, and fault retries, with user-defined time intervals. The outputs can also be configured as Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for controlled starts/stops. The built-in data logging facility records all PDM outputs and ECU data, enabling detailed performance analysis. Additionally, the system captures lap timing and GPS data from the optional roof-mounted GPS module for track mapping and race analysis. The PDM08 works seamlessly with various dash displays, offering 5", 6", or 10" options to suit individual preferences. It interfaces with over 1000 ECU protocols, internal 9-axis EMU, GPS, expansion modules, push buttons from RIO02 or commercial CAN keypads, and PDM outputs. The optional GPS module provides easy lap timing, track mapping, and access to a database of over 4000 race tracks for seamless data collection. The TFT dash displays replace traditional dashboard gauges and warning lamps, offering 5", 6", or 10" sizes and "Race" or "Street" icon sets. Both versions are fully user-configurable and provide a range of layout options. The system can be further enhanced with additional button options such as Remote Button CAN Interface Keypads (4-15 buttons) or CAN Wireless Wheel 10 Button Plates (4, 8, or 10 buttons, plus carbon fibre option and/or paddle shift). The PDM08 comes with a 35 pin AMP connector with gold pins for easy wiring. For added convenience, a pre-assembled harness is available separately.
