The AIM Motorsport PDM08 is an advanced power distribution module designed to simplify vehicle electrical systems by replacing traditional fuse boxes and relays. It features 8 high side outputs, rated up to 25A, 1x rated up to 20A, and 6x rated up to 15A, with a total continuous max current of 100A. Each output provides feedback to the data logger for real-time information on open/short circuits, high/low voltage, number of fault resets, and time between resets. The user can define the configuration of each output as PWM for soft start/stop. The module comes with a built-in data logging facility that logs all PDM outputs and ECU data, enabling advanced analysis of vehicle performance. It also includes lap timing functionality through GPS integration (GPS09 option) for track mapping and optimisation. The robust aluminium case is designed to endure the demanding environment of motorsport applications. The PDM8 can be paired with a choice of 5", 6", or 10" TFT dash displays, showcasing user-configurable "Race" or "Street" icons for a personalised driving experience. The PDM8 features 6 analogue/digital inputs and 2 speed inputs, enabling integration with various vehicle sensors. It is compatible with over 1000 ECU protocols and supports data reception from internal 9-axis EMU, GPS (GPS09 option), expansion modules, push buttons (RIO02 or commercial CAN keypads), and PDM outputs. The optional GPS module offers easy lap timing and track mapping with a database of over 4000 race tracks. It is available in various lead lengths for different applications, and can be installed on the roof (roof version) or from the side for flexible installation options. This system can be further customised with additional button options such as Remote Button CAN Interface Keypads (4-15 buttons) or CAN Wireless Wheel 10 Button Plates (4, 8, or 10 buttons, plus carbon fibre option and/or paddle shift). The PDM08 comes with a 35 pin AMP connector featuring gold pins for easy wiring. For easier installation, a pre-assembled harness is available as an accessory.
