The OBP Dark Matter Oil Catch Tanks are a crucial addition to any high-performance engine, preventing harmful oil particles from reaching the intake system and jeopardising performance. Crafted with aircraft-grade aluminium, these tanks boast exceptional durability and resistance to petrol, oils, acid, and alkali, making them particularly suitable for competitive environments where conditions are at their harshest. With a matt black 'Dark Matter' coating that not only looks great but also withstands the test of time, this tank ensures consistent engine performance even in the most demanding situations. The 1-litre capacity tank is designed to suit engines requiring optimal oil collection and features 13mm push-on inlet, outlet, and breather ports. Standing at 180mm high, 105mm wide, and 65mm deep, it offers ample space for efficient oil accumulation while maintaining a compact form factor. For those preferring AN-8 (JIC) fittings, we also offer Option 2, which shares the same size and capacity as Option 1 but comes equipped with these ports instead. For engines requiring larger oil storage capacities, our 2-litre tank is available in a slightly larger form factor of 200mm high x 150mm wide x 70mm deep, yet still maintains the same dimensions and performance benefits as its counterparts. Lastly, for smaller engines or those with limited space, we provide an option that accommodates a 0.5-litre capacity tank, which features the same push-on connections but has a more compact footprint of 90mm diameter x 90mm high. All our tanks come with a sight tube gauge, allowing you to monitor their fill levels easily, and a drain plug for hassle-free emptying.
