The Cometic Multi Layer Steel (MLS) Cylinder Head Gasket is a high-performance solution designed to provide maximum sealing performance for engines that require additional power and tuning. Unlike OEM gaskets, these MLS gaskets do not need additional sealants or re-torquing, making them ideal for tuned engines with higher compression or boost levels. The Cometic MLS gaskets are made up of multiple layers of stainless steel with embossed outer layers and a heat-resistant Viton coating. This design makes them resistant to corrosion and able to withstand high heat (250°C) and load conditions. The MLS gaskets are suitable for use on high-performance engines with cast iron or aluminium heads.
