The Arai GP-7 SRC Carbon Helmet, crafted from lightweight yet robust hand-laid carbon fibre, is engineered with innovative SRC (Super Racing Carbon) technology that enables it to flex without splintering. This flex translates to the multi-density inner shell, effectively distributing impact energy for exceptional wearer protection. Compatible with FHR devices and adhering to the stringent FIA 8860-2018 standard, this helmet is a staple in numerous international racing series. Its visor mechanism employs a lever operation that's easy to operate even within cramped cockpits or when donning gloves. The fire-resistant lining ensures additional safety. The expanded visor aperture offers an extended and deeper field of vision, complemented by the 3mm compound curvature visor that is visor tear off compatible (tear offs sold separately). Enhanced ventilation is provided through five intake vents (two on the chin bar and three adjustable scoops) and two enlarged outlets on the crown, promoting both comfort and clarity for the driver's vision. The helmet comes with Arai's renowned PED spoiler kit and pre-installed HANS/FHR posts. The shell is delivered in a clear finish, suitable for custom painting or lacquering to showcase the visible carbon weave. Please note that the GP-7 SRC is supplied sans top vents (vent holes left open). Each purchase includes a package containing various ventilation options: Performance Enhancement Device (PED) kit (front and rear spoiler set), Screw Kit (Torx T20, washers, pressure plate set), Vent kit (seven tear ducts, two TDF3, one XDB2), Post anchor set, Torx T20 screwdriver, and Sticker set.
