SuperPro Front Lower Torque Arm Insert - Diesel - VW FR LWR TOR ARM INSER BUSH DIESEL

The SuperPro Front Lower Torque Arm Insert is designed to replace the rubber bushes in existing engine mounts with a firmer polyurethane material. This upgrade provides a significant improvement over the original parts by reducing power loss, improving traction, and enhancing more positive gear changes. The engine mounts are designed to insulate the rest of the car from the normal vibrations of the engine, striking a balance between not allowing the engine to move too much and not transmitting unwanted levels of noise and vibration into the cabin. However, as the torque increases or when driven harder, the rubber used can prove to be too soft, allowing excessive movement. This leads to extra load on the exhaust system, affects handling, and reduces the transmission of full torque from the engine to the wheels. By replacing the original parts with firmer polyurethane, these issues can be avoided. The SuperPro inserts mount into the original engine mount assembly in place of the rubber originals, firming everything up. Unlike the rubber used in the original engine mounts, which becomes soft and brittle with age, the polyurethane does not wear out in the same way. Depending on the application, three compounds are available: * 70K SHORE: The softest compound, recommended for diesel engines. It can be used on petrol engines and will still be firmer than the original parts. * 80K SHORE: A medium firmness compound recommended for sports/street use on most petrol-engined cars. It offers both an impressive degree of handling enhancement and a fair degree of insulation from NVH. * 90K SHORE: Recommended for track-use, offering the greatest degree of improvement in firmness but transmitting significantly more vibration into the cabin. These inserts are ideal either for replacing worn originals or as a bit of preventative maintenance on an older car. By upgrading to a firmer polyurethane material, you can improve the overall driving experience and ensure optimal performance.
