The Vibra Technics Uprated Rear Transmission Mount - Performance / Competition is a high-performance replacement for the original Ford mount, designed to provide a significant reduction in engine movement under extreme driving conditions. This upgraded mount is ideal for road cars that are also used on track days, offering impressive vibration isolation performance for everyday use. The Vibra Technics Uprated Rear Transmission Mount - Performance / Competition provides superior control over gearbox movement and gives a tighter feel, making it an excellent choice for those who demand more from their vehicle. This direct replacement for the OE part is manufactured using natural rubber compounds or blends of synthetic and natural rubber to provide specific properties. The extensive experience and testing by automobile manufacturers have shown that only natural rubber compounds offer optimum performance and durability. Hence, this is why it is still universally used today by every car manufacturer. When attaching the rubber to metal components, a chemical bonding process is employed using the latest adhesive systems during the moulding process. The Performance gearbox / transmission mounts are designed for high-performance applications where a direct replacement for the standard mount is required, along with a much higher level of engine control to cope with higher engine outputs and higher road inputs caused by fast driving. These mounts provide significant improvements in ride and handling without adversely affecting vibration isolation. They are strong enough for gearbox / transmission support during hard driving but compliant enough for daily road use.
