The Vibra Technics Uprated Transmission Mount - Performance is specifically designed for the 6-speed gearbox used in the ST180, offering a significant upgrade over the standard mount. This premium upgrade provides impressive reductions in engine movement under extreme driving conditions, making it ideal for road cars that also participate in track days. With its exceptional vibration isolation performance, this upgraded transmission mount offers improved control over gearbox movement, providing a tighter and more responsive feel. A direct replacement for the OE part fitted to your vehicle, it will provide a more positive gear change and enhance overall driving experience. Vibra Technics transmission mounts are manufactured using natural rubber compounds, which have been proven through extensive testing in various environmental conditions to offer optimum performance and durability. The bonding process involves chemically attaching the rubber to metal components during moulding, ensuring a strong and reliable connection. The Performance gearbox/ transmission mount has been designed for high-performance applications where a direct replacement for the standard mount is required, along with improved engine control to cope with higher engine outputs and road inputs caused by fast driving. The upgraded mounts provide significant improvements in ride and handling without compromising vibration isolation.
