Enhanced driver engagement and improved rev-matching capabilities on gear shifts are among the benefits. Rev up quicker for smoother, snappier gear changes. The factory-fitted flywheel in many contemporary cars is intentionally made heavy to ensure smoothness during everyday driving. However, this added weight can hinder the engine's capacity to gain or lose speed, which may slightly diminish the car's overall performance and impede quick gear transitions where precise throttle blipping is required for downshifts or rapid upshifts. By installing a lighter flywheel, you can mitigate these issues while retaining a significant amount of weight to preserve driveability. Crafted from top-quality 4140 forged chromoly steel, this lightweight flywheel range offers exceptional toughness and heat resistance. Suitable for regular road use, these flywheels are recommended for use with standard fitment clutches, particularly stage 1 and 2 clutches.
