By swapping out the limiting factory catalytic converter with Piper's signature De Cat Pipe, you're not just tweaking; you're transforming your exhaust flow. The Piper De Cat pipe is specifically designed to target back pressure behind the turbine, amplifying turbo responsiveness and reducing spool times. This means that your engine will perform faster and more efficiently, giving you a smoother transit for your exhaust gases. By installing the Piper De Cat Pipe, you'll be replacing the most restrictive section of your factory exhaust, allowing for a more streamlined gas flow. This means that your vehicle's performance will be maximised, making it ideal for turbo-charged vehicles seeking faster spool times or looking to top-notice efficiency. It's important to note that sports cats cannot be installed on a vehicle manufactured after 1st March 2001 unless type ECE 103R approved (identified by '103R' in the exhaust product title). Fitting a De Cat/Cat Bypass or GPF delete/bypass to a vehicle that is to be used on UK roads will cause the vehicle to fail the MOT emissions test, rendering it unroadworthy and illegal to use on the road. Please also note that replacing your stock cat will require a remap, as the ECU will be getting different readings from the Lambda sensors in the exhaust.
