Massively enhanced stopping power is achieved through the use of larger, higher-performing components. The Mono-4/mono-6 Big Brake Kit replaces your car's factory calipers, brake discs, and brake pads with much bigger, high-performance parts. The Alcon monoblock aluminium calipers are machined from T6061, ensuring minimal flex and optimal control and braking feel. These calipers allow for greater stopping power spread over a wider area, resulting in quicker stops and reduced fading. High-end calipers require high-end discs, which is why Revo opted for crescent-grooved two-piece floating discs. The floating disc design separates the rotor and hub of the disc, allowing the rotor to expand outwards with heat without warping. The crescent grooves on the disc surface offer a number of benefits, including sweeping the surface clean, allowing superheated gas to escape, and providing larger areas of continuous disc surface. Ferodo's DS Performance Compound was chosen for its outstanding road use characteristics. This compound retains many features from track pads, offering high friction coefficients and heat resistance, while also providing excellent cold performance and reduced dustiness. The kit includes braided steel brake lines from Goodridge to minimize flex, ensuring no effort is wasted. Additionally, Motul Dot 5.1 fluid is specified for its fully synthetic properties and dry boiling point of almost 270 degrees, making it capable of withstanding the stresses of this high-performance braking system. The Revo Mono 4 and Mono 6 Big Brake Kits are fully compatible with your car's factory Anti-Lock (ABS), Traction Control (ESC), and Stability Control (ESP) systems. This combination of high-end components provides strong, consistent, fade-free brake action and excellent brake feel, giving you the peace of mind you need when driving spiritedly or on track.
