This means more friction and faster stopping times. The T6061 calipers are machined as a single piece, ensuring optimal control and braking feel with minimal flex. Paired with high-end calipers are crescent grooved two-piece floating discs, essential for heavy, prolonged braking. The floating disc design separates the rotor and hub of the disc, allowing the rotor to expand outward without warping. The Ferodo DS Performance Compound is designed specifically for fast-road use, offering outstanding road characteristics while retaining many features from track pads. This compound provides high friction coefficients, excellent heat resistance, and exceptional cold performance right from the first pedal push on a cold morning.
