Note: For vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001, sports cats must be type ECE 103R approved (as indicated in the product title) to be legally installed on public roads. Failure to comply may result in MOT emissions test failure and rendering the vehicle unroadworthy and illegal for use on the road. It's essential to also note that fitting a De Cat/Cat Bypass or GPF delete/bypass will similarly cause MOT emissions test failure, making the vehicle unroadworthy and illegal for use on public roads. In addition, a remap is usually required following the installation of a high-flow sports catalyst, as the ECU will receive different readings from the Lambda sensors in the exhaust which may trigger error messages.
