The K&N Drycharger Air Filter Wrap is a protective cover made from silicone-treated polyester, designed specifically to fit over K&N oval-tapered air filters. This wrap not only acts as an additional barrier against water and debris, but also functions as a pre-filter by trapping smaller particles before they reach the actual air filter element. The silicone treatment on the polyester material provides a waterproof coating that lasts for 1 to 2 years, ensuring effective protection against wet conditions. The Drycharger's micron-sized openings allow for excellent airflow and improved performance while still maintaining filtration capabilities. This coverage not only enhances your K&N air filter's service life but also contributes to keeping it clean and free from water-related damages. With its stitched elastic openings, this wrap is easy to fit and accommodates the dimensions of 3.75 in (95 mm) base inside width, 3 in (76 mm) base inside length, 2 in (51 mm) top inside width, and 6 in (152 mm) height.
