The Maxsport Alaska 5 Tyre, specifically designed for Autograss racing, excels on loose surfaces. Its tread construction makes it an excellent choice for achieving fantastic straight line speed. This tyre has been E-approved for road use and is ideal for Autograss racing on loose surfaces. As part of the new National Autograss regulations (effective from 1st July 2019), all competing cars need to be running the new AG1965 compound, which is marked with a RED Maxsport 60 on the side of the tyre, on the drive wheels of the car. Competitors can still use the older specification compound on non-driven wheels. It's important to note that any tyres supplied are manufactured using the new AG1965 compound unless otherwise stated. The "E" approval for road use is also highlighted. Please be aware that Maxsport tyres are not D.O.T approved, so it's essential to check the legality of using them outside the UK. For competitors who need specific size options, some models with "(New)" are manufactured using a new casing.
