One of the key features of the DL1 Data Logger is its ability to store data from multiple sources, including its built-in GPS and accelerometers. The high-accuracy 5Hz (20Hz option) GPS system and 3-axis accelerometer with 2g full scale (6g option recommended for high downforce cars) provide improved track mapping and more accurate speed measurements and lap times. The use of GPS eliminates the need for trackside beacons, making it a valuable asset for motorsports enthusiasts. The DL1 Data Logger also features up to eight external analogue sensors, allowing users to monitor additional data points. Its true 100Hz update rate on all channels enables it to detect minute changes in performance. Users can benefit from lap and sector timing with a satellite overlay option on track maps (live lap and sector timing are also possible when using a Race Technology dash display). The DL1 stores data on a removable SD card (up to 32GB) for easy downloads, as well as outputting real-time data for display on any Race Technology dash displays. The comprehensive Race Technology data analysis package is included with the device, allowing users to access advanced features like super-accurate track mapping, user-defined channels, powerful graphing, and direct comparison of up to 10 data sets (races) simultaneously with unlimited laps. The DL1 Data Logger is available in two models: DL1 SPORT and DL1 CLUB. The DL1 SPORT model includes all the standard features, while the DL1 CLUB model offers additional optional features that can be specified at the time of ordering.
