The Revo Carbon Series Full Kit Matt Finish is designed to optimize the performance of your MQB platform Golf by replacing restrictive pipework and weak points in the OEM system. This upgrade kit maintains the factory look while enhancing airflow through a series of carefully crafted components. The front panel is replaced with an attractive carbon fibre unit, which grabs air from above the radiator and forces it into the airbox using internal fins. This arrangement ensures that the airbox receives an excellent supply of cold air, resulting in increased engine performance. As the denser air allows the engine to gulp down more oxygen, this upgrade makes power more easily accessible, particularly on remapped engines. The silicone boost hose, made by Samco, is designed to smooth out airflow to the turbo, reducing lag and improving flow rates. The unique production process ensures that even complex shapes can be manufactured with precision. Unlike the convoluted factory pipe, the Samco hose is optimized for performance. For petrol engines, the air filter is replaced with a higher-flowing three-stage foam unit. This upgrade allows more air through than the paper element specified by VW from the factory.
