The Cartek Retro Power Distribution Panel is a fully integrated, fully electronic solution designed to replace traditional fuses, relays, and switches in race and rally cars. With its ability to distribute power directly from the battery, it simplifies wiring, reduces build time, saves weight, and maximises reliability. This powerful unit features 16 fully protected power outputs, each with 6 selectable current settings, removing the need for fuses or circuit breakers. The function of each channel can be selected from a range of 8 options, allowing for flexibility and customisation. There are 16 user configurable channels, with selectable current settings of 5, 10, or 15 Amps, which can be combined to achieve 20, 25, or 30 Amps. The Cartek Retro Power Distribution Panel offers a variety of momentary action options, including starter motor and washer pump functionality. It also provides latching functionality with memory, without memory, or with time delay (heated screen). Additionally, it features flashing indicators and toggling capabilities for headlights high beam/low beam. This unit boasts 0V momentary action functionality, which can be used as an ordinary switch for ECU map setups. It also offers over current and short circuit protection without the need for fuses or relays. The Power Distribution Panel includes a dedicated wiper module as standard, along with 16 momentary switch inputs, allowing any channel to be operated by an additional switch or the Cartex Wireless Control System. There are also 16 ECU inputs, enabling the ECU to run on channels such as fuel pumps. Unlike most PDMs on the market, the Cartek Retro Power Distribution Panel does not require a laptop for programming configuration. Pre-set options for functionality and current settings can be chosen through a simple process via the switch panel, saving time and labour costs. The Power Distribution Panel measures W140mm x H195mm and weighs 625g. A choice of pre-crimped or loose crimped connector kits are available separately to make installation easier.
