Powerflex Engine Mount Lower Torque Arm, Bush Insert - Volkswagen Scirocco Mk3 PFF85-504 Lower Engine Mount Insert (Large)

The Powerflex Engine Mount Lower Tororque Arm Bush Insert is designed to provide high-performance upgraded polyurethane engine and gearbox mounts for the Volkswagen Scirocco Mk3 PFF85-504. These upgraded mounts are engineered to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) caused by spirited road or track driving. The stock mounts are designed with NVH in mind, but they may not be ideal for the additional stresses generated by enthusiastic driving. The Powerflex engine mount is designed to provide less flex in the engine mounting, resulting in reduced engine movement while still offering superb sound damping. This results in less wasted power, sharper gear changes, and less stress transmitted to the downpipe. Powerflex offers different compounds for their engine mounts, each with its unique characteristics. The red compound (product code ending in R) is the softest option available, making it ideal for diesel engines that produce more vibration. These mounts are designed to soak up NVH, but they can still be used on petrol engines. They provide a softer compound than factory engine mounts and will absorb more noise and vibration. The yellow compound (middle ground) may not be recommended by Powerflex for diesel engines due to the high transmission of NVH. The purple compound (product code ending in P) is the stiffest option, short of the black series, making it ideal for track use. However, this will result in more NVH being experienced and is not recommended for diesel engines. For those who require the highest level of performance, Powerflex offers a black series bushing that uses the hardest compound available. This provides the most rigidity short of a solid engine mount but will also transmit more NVH.
