Powerflex Engine Support Bracket Small

The Powerflex Engine Support Bracket Small has been designed to provide high-performance upgraded polyurethane engine and gearbox mounts for spirited road or track driving. While stock mounts are designed with Noise, Vibration and Harshness in mind, they may not be ideal for the extra stresses caused by enthusiastic driving.

Upgraded engine mounts from Powerflex allow for less flex in the engine mounting, resulting in less engine movement, which means less wasted power, sharper gear changes and less stress transmitted to the downpole. Various compounds are offered, each with its own characteristics:

• Red compound mounts (ending in R): the softest on offer, ideal for diesel engines due to their ability to soak up Noise, Vibration and Harshness.

• Yellow compound mounts: the middle ground, not normally recommended for diesel engines due to excessive NVH transmission.

• Purple compound mounts (ending in P): the stiffest compound short of the black series, recommended for track use and not advised for diesel engines due to additional NVH experienced.

• Black series bushes, available for some cars, using the hardest compound Powerflex makes, transmitting a lot of NVH but offering the most rigidity short of a solid engine mount.
