The Powerflex Single Black Series Lower Engine Mount is a high-performance upgraded polyurethane engine mount designed to improve the performance of your vehicle's engine and transmission. Compared to the stock mounts, this upgraded engine mount reduces noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) by minimizing the movement of the engine, resulting in sharper gear changes and less wasted power. The Powerflex Single Black Series Lower Engine Mount is available with different compounds: Red (R), Yellow, Purple (P), and Black. Each compound has its own characteristics and uses: * The Red compound is the softest option, ideal for diesel engines, which produce more vibration. It absorbs the most NVH and provides excellent sound damping. * The Yellow compound is the middle ground, not recommended for diesel engines as it transmits a lot of NVH. * The Purple compound is the stiffest option short of the Black series, recommended for track use, but not suitable for diesel engines due to increased NVH. * The Black series is the hardest compound available, transmitting a lot of NVH, but offering the most rigidity short of a solid engine mount.
