The hans III HANS Device, a latest innovation from our esteemed brand, is inspired by the top-tier devices used in Formula 1, but crafted with a more affordable and durable polymer material. One of its striking features is the hollow collar that significantly reduces the weight, making it the lightest entry-level HANS device available in the market. The hans III offers a range of recline angles, including 20 degrees, suitable for most saloons, GT's, and rally cars, as well as any application with an upright seating position. The 30-degree angle is ideal for single seater, formula cars, and sports prototypes. This device comes in two sizes: Medium, which accommodates up to 17" (43cm) collar size, and Large, which caters to over oreal collar size. Sliding tethers are fitted as standard, providing greater freedom of movement and ensuring a comfortable fit. It's worth noting that helmet posts/ clips are not included and can be purchased separately. The hans III is FIA 8858-2010 approved, making it suitable for use in Motorsport events sanctioned by Motorsport UK. For competitors participating in stage rally competitions, an FHR is mandatory. Additionally, circuit racing drivers in post-1976 cars must use an FHR, and for those driving pre-1977 cars, an FHR is highly recommended. Demon Tweeks strongly recommends using harnesses with 2/3" or 2" wide shoulder straps to provide the best fit with our hans III HANS Device.
