The Stilo ST5 GT N 8860 Carbon Helmet is a cutting-edge, high-performance helmet designed for saloon and GT racing. Constructed from the finest moulded autoclaved carbon, this helmet boasts exceptional strength and lightness. Unlike other helmets in the Stilo range, the 8860 version features solid carbon for high strength and low weight. The ST5 GT N 8860 Carbon Helmet combines the use of EPS (expandable polystyrene) to achieve a remarkably low weight while meeting the latest FIA 2018 approval standards. This helmet has been optimized for track use, with electronics and side ports deleted to optimize weight saving. The earmuffs have been certified for track use due to their excellent isolation from external noises. They are removable and do not feature speakers, which are not permitted on circuit. The pressure on the head from the earmuffs can be adjusted by changing the special foam rubber pads supplied between the earmuff and the helmet. The Stilo ST5 GT N 8860 Carbon Helmet features a double shell design, with two different shells: one for small sizes (XS, S, M and L-59) and another for large sizes (L-60, XL, XXL and XXXL). This allows for a more precise fit, ensuring maximum comfort and safety. The ST5 model has several improvements over its predecessor, the ST4. It is lighter, uses a smaller shell, has increased vision with a visor that lifts fully out of line of sight, is more comfortable, has better aerodynamics, and features improved ventilation. The new visor locking clasp can be easily operated with just one hand. The Stilo ST5 GT N 8860 Carbon Helmet is designed for saloon and GT racing, supplied as standard with a short sunshade. A full visor is available as an option if use in an open-top car is required. The helmet features factory-fitted FHR (Hans) posts and has no radio electronics or drinks ports, resulting in a sleeker, more compact profile.
