The Stilo ST5 GT 8860 Carbon Helmet is a cutting-edge, high-performance helmet designed specifically for saloon and GT racing. Constructed from moulded autoclaved carbon, this helmet boasts exceptional strength and light weight. Its EPS (expandable polystyrene) design ensures extremely low weight while maintaining the highest safety standards. The integrated electronics package includes: integrated plugs, an adjustable magnetic-dynamic noise-cancelling microphone, and a radio connection plug. This allows for easy communication with the car's radio system, ensuring seamless connectivity. The whole electronics package is integrated into the helmet, eliminating any risk of damage or breakage from hanging cables. The Stilo ST5 GT 8860 Carbon Helmet features ear plugs certified for track use, offering excellent isolation from external noises. These removable earmuffs provide exceptional noise reduction and are designed to be adjusted using special foam rubber pads supplied with the helmet. Additionally, the helmet includes a drinks system connection plug on the left-hand side, allowing drivers to easily stay hydrated during competition. The Stilo ST5 GT 8860 Carbon Helmet features a double-shell design, offering two shell sizes: small (XS, S, M, and L) and large (XL, XXL, and XXXL). This allows for a more comfortable fit and better aerodynamics. The helmet also comes with an optional front spoiler, rear spoiler, air intakes, visors, tear-offs, top air system, and driver drinking system. Compared to the previous ST4 model, the Stilo ST5 GT 8860 Carbon Helmet is lighter, uses a smaller shell, has increased vision with a visor that lifts fully out of line of sight, is more comfortable, has better aerodynamics, and features improved ventilation. The new visor locking clasp can be easily operated with just one hand. The Stilo ST5 GT 8860 Carbon Helmet is ideal for use in saloon and GT racing, supplied as standard with a short sunshade. A full visor is available as an option if use in an open-top car is required. This helmet is FIA 8860-2018 approved and comes fitted with integrated radio connection electronics that include: integrated ear plugs connection, magnetic-dynamic noise-cancelling microphone, and integrated radio connection plug.
