The Stilo ST5 GT 8860 Carbon Helmet is constructed from high-quality, autoclaved carbon, offering unparalleled strength and light weight. Unlike other helmets in the Stilo range, this 8860 version boasts solid carbon for enhanced safety features. The helmet also utilizes EPS (expandable polystyrene) to achieve a low weight while maintaining extremely high safety standards, meeting the latest FIA 8860-2018 approval. The integrated electronics package is designed to provide seamless connectivity and minimize potential breakages. The plug connecting to the radio is conveniently located on the left-hand side of the helmet, ensuring easy connection for circuit use. Additionally, the wiring connections are available separately for the most common car radio systems. A notable feature of this helmet is the adjustable magnetic-dynamic noise-cancelling microphone, which comes with spacers to adjust the microphone's position closer to the driver's mouth. The earmuffs are certified for track use, offering excellent isolation from external noises and are removable, allowing for convenient communication through ear plugs. The helmet also features a drinks system connection plug on the left-hand side, allowing drivers to easily stay hydrated during competitions with quick release couplings. The new visor locking clasp can easily be operated with just one hand. Ideal for use in saloon and GT racing, the helmet comes with a standard short sunshade, while a full visor is available as an option for open-top cars. This Stilo ST5 GT 8860 Carbon Helmet features an integrated radio connection that includes a magnetic-dynamic noise-cancelling microphone, integrated radio connection plug, integrated ear plugs connection, and removable earmuffs. The helmet also comes with factory-fitted FHR (Hans) posts and has a weight of 1300g for the small shell and 1400g for the large shell.
