The Stilo ST5 GT 8860 Carbon Helmet is a top-of-the-line racing helmet, constructed from high-strength moulded autoclaved carbon that provides exceptional lightness and strength. This premium helmet stands out from the rest of the Stilo range due to its solid carbon construction, achieving an impressively low weight while meeting the latest FIA 8860-2018 approval. The ST5 GT 8860 boasts a range of innovative features designed to improve the driving experience. The integrated electronics package includes no-hang cables or potential breakages, thanks to the entire electronics setup being built into the helmet. Additionally, the plug is conveniently located on the left-hand side of the helmet, making connections to circuit radios easy. The adjustable microphone is a notable feature, allowing for optimal positioning closer to the driver's mouth using supplied spacers. The magnetic-dynamic noise-cancelling microphone ensures crisp communication with minimal interference. Earmuffs are certified for track use, offering excellent isolation from external noises and removable for convenience. These earpieces do not include speakers, as they are not permitted on circuit; instead, communication is maintained through ear plugs. The pressure on the head from the earmuffs can be adjusted by changing special foam rubber pads positioned between the earmuff and the helmet. The optional drinks system connection plug is built into the left-hand side of the helmet, allowing drivers to stay hydrated during competitions with quick release couplings for easy entry and exit. Preparation is also available for a frontal drinking system entering through the front air vent. This helmet features a double shell design, offering two different shell sizes: small (XS, S, M, and L) and large (XL, XXL, and XXXL). Optional accessories include front spoiler, rear spoiler, air intakes, visors, tear-offs, top air system, and driver drinking system. Improving upon the previous ST4 model, the ST5 boasts a lighter design, smaller shell size, increased vision with a visor that lifts fully out of line of sight, improved comfort, better aerodynamics, and ventilation. The new visor locking clasp can be easily operated with just one hand. Ideal for use in saloon and GT racing, this helmet is supplied as standard with a short sunshade; a full visor is available as an optional extra if open-top car usage is required. This premium helmet includes integrated radio connection, magnetic-dynamic noise-cancelling microphone, integrated ear plugs connection, and removable earmuffs. Factory-fitted FHR (Hans) posts are also included. The weight of the small shell is 130030g, while the large shell weighs 140030g.
