The Stilo ST5 GT Zero helmet is a game-changer for closed cockpit GT/touring car racing, offering unparalleled safety and performance. Constructed from high tensile autoclaved carbon fibre, this helmet boasts exceptional strength and ultra-light weight. This 'Zero' version has been specifically designed to surpass the latest FIA 8860-2018 safety standard with unmatched impact and puncture resistance. Integrated into the helmet are innovative features such as no-hang cables and possible breakages, thanks to the integrated electronics package and plug connecting to the radio. For circuit use, wiring connections are available to connect to the most common car radio systems. The adjustable magnetic-dynamic noise-cancelling microphone is supplied with spacers, allowing you to move the microphone position closer to your mouth for optimal communication. The certified earmuffs offer excellent isolation from external noises and are removable - they do not have speakers, which are not permitted on circuit; instead, communication is carried out through ear plugs (available separately). The pressure on your head from the earmuffs can be adjusted by changing the special foam rubber pads supplied between the earmuff and the helmet. The optional drinks system connection plug is built into the helmet on the left-hand side, allowing you to easily stay hydrated during competition with quick release couplings. If preferred, the helmet also has preparation for a frontal drinking system entering through the front air vent. This ultra-lightweight full-face helmet features factory-fitted FHR (Hans) posts and an integrated radio connection that includes: magnetic-dynamic noise-cancelling microphone, integrated radio connection plug, integrated ear plugs connection, and removable earmuffs. Ideal for use in closed cockpit racing, this helmet is supplied as standard with a short 'sun shade' visor, as well as full-size visors in both light and dark smoked to allow use in open cockpit cars.
