For those in search of heightened driving performance, the Milltek Exhaust De Cat offers an unbeatable solution. By overcoming the restrictions imposed by conventional exhaust systems, your vehicle can attain the performance it's capable of, particularly when complemented with appropriate remapping software. Please be aware that sports cats cannot legally be installed on vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001 for use on public roads in the UK unless they are type ECE 103R approved (indicated by '103R' in the product title). Fitting a De Cat/Cat Bypass or GPF delete/bypass to such a vehicle will result in failure of the MOT emissions test, rendering it illegal for use on public roads. It is also important to note that installing a De Cat/Cat Bypass or removing your catalytic converter may require a remap due to the different readings from the Lambda sensors in the exhaust, which will likely be perceived as an error by the ECU. Normally, an upgraded catalyst is an integral part of comprehensive performance upgrade packages. Milltek offers a warranty for the first purchaser of their high-flow sports catalysts and downpipes, covering them for 2 years or 80,000km. Please note that terms apply.
