At just 0.25mm thick, it's ideal for areas with limited clearance and can be easily cut to size and shape to protect heat sensitive components. The Zircoflex material is inherently flexible, allowing it to be manipulated to a huge range of applications quickly and easily. It can be folded up to 180 degrees without reduction in thermal performance, making it an excellent choice for protecting vital components in high-temperature environments. One of the key benefits of the Zircotec Zircoflex Heat Shield Material is its lightweight profile, weighing only 0.46kg/m. This makes it ideal for competition applications where both space and weight are vital factors in achieving a competitive advantage on the track. The Zircotec Zircoflex Heat Shield Material comes with an optional self-adhesive 'peel and stick' backing for easy installation. Alternatively, it can be fixed using a Zircotec strapping kit (sold separately). The Zircotec Zircoflex Heat Shield Material is available in various sizes, including:
