The Zircoflex Form Rigid Formable Heat Shield can be cut, bent, and shaped to produce specific shields without the need for any specialist tools, making it a highly convenient option for Motorsport or highly tuned road cars. This product has been tested up to 900 deg C (hot side) and is available in four sizes: 300 x 250mm, 500 x 300mm, 600 x 500mm, and 1200 x 500mm. The measured surface temp reductions for this heat shield are impressive, with a reduction of -83 deg C for a surface of 200 deg C, -118 deg C for a surface of 300 deg C, -149 deg C for a surface of 400 deg C, and -180 deg C for a surface of 500 deg C. When used as an offset shield, the measured surface temp reductions are even more impressive, with temperatures of -260 deg C at a source temperature of 300 deg C and -528 deg C at a source temperature of 600 deg C.
